Registry Update

Okay, okay, we’ve heard the uproar on the paltry registry contents and we’ve finally taken action. We’ve added many items to the Amazon.com registry (when you see the contents you’ll know the registry is very representative of us), and we created a Williams-Sonoma registry (a little less our style, but will come in handy non-the-less).

Room Block

Hi Everyone,

As archaic and inhumane as it may be, you must call the Stanley Hotel for reservations. The wobsite seems to convince everyone that there is only one room left.  It is deceptive and cruel…but totally driving up demands for the most important wedding of aught eight.

Registry Status

If you’ve taken a look at our Amazon registry you’ll see that we’re really into Arrested Development and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and seemingly nothing else.  Well as great as those shows truly are (they probably do deserve all of our attention), there will be more to come.  We’ve been swamped with work, and getting those Save the Dates out that have led you here.  Don’t worry, we’ll be getting more on that list soon, as well as adding a new registry (most likely at williams-sonoma).

Engagement Session Photos

A couple weeks ago Dana and I did a photo shoot in downtown Denver with our wedding photographer, Laura Esmond of Hannah Photography. You can see a sample at Laura’s blog. It was a lot of fun strutting our stuff for the camera. I think Dana in particular took to the modeling like a natural.

Hotels

Ok so i was like…Labor Day weekend is going to RULE for wedding time. I was right…sort of…it is awesome but hotels are filling up fast we have a block reserved at the Stanley (but not a ton of rooms are blocked off) but if you want to stay somewhere else here are some alternatives. Please book soon and watch out for the Democratic National Convention. It ends August 28 so you should be save coming into Denver after that. Book hotels quick! I’ll try to dig up some of the little B&B’s around there and post them. I think most of these are within a mile of the Stanley.
